strengthening colorado communities
We strive to be a trusted partner and neighbor by investing in essential needs, education and local businesses across Colorado.
our commitment in action
Each year, we dedicate millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to support Colorado communities through sponsorships, donations, and partnerships. Let’s take a closer look at the effect of these efforts throughout the state.
colorado youth outdoors
Chevron has partnered with Colorado Youth Outdoors (CYO) since 2015. We support CYO through donations, mentoring and annual volunteer projects to improve outdoor recreational areas and facilities.

weld food bank
Through our long-term partnership with the Weld Food Bank, we’ve been able to help give back to local communities. Chevron employees have volunteered hundreds of hours over the last few years for the organization, and in 2019 we donated a $65,000 van powered by compressed natural gas to help deliver food to elderly and students across Northern Colorado.denver public schools foundation
We proudly support the Denver Public Schools Foundation (DPS). In addition to volunteering at schools and supporting career fairs, we donate $1,000 to DPS every time the Denver Broncos reach the 20-yard red zone through the Red Zone Program, our partnership with the team.
In addition, we support the DPS Career Connect Program, through which we welcomed a group of students to our Operations and Safety Training Center in Greeley to learn about earth sciences, geology and oil, and natural gas production.
wish for wheels
Through our annual partnership with Wish For Wheels, our volunteers join Colorado Eagles coaches, players, and staff, to build and give bikes to hundreds of young students from Title I elementary schools in Weld County. For many of these children, this is their very first bike, and we’re proud to be a part of helping them experience the joy, freedom, and adventure that come with it.
