fueling colorado
while protecting what
makes it home

We love our open roads. Our passion for Colorado’s stunning landscapes and lively communities fuels our drive for lower carbon energy practices.

By using pipelines instead of trucks, we’re cutting over 200 million miles of traffic each year, significantly reducing emissions and keeping our roads clear. We also decommission about 500 wells annually, restoring thousands of acres for agriculture and wildlife, supporting our local farmers and preserving our environment.

That’s energy in progress.

production coexist at
colorado ranch

On the Guttersen Ranch in Weld County, Colorado, we’ve reduced the surface footprint of our operations more than 95% and greenhouse gas emissions by 90% using next-gen facility designs.

Art Guttersen's ranch has been in his family for over 85 years. He gave Chevron exclusive rights to develop oil and natural gas on the land in 2018.

Now the ranch is an example of how agriculture and energy production can work together to better local communities in Colorado.
